I love Filipino food and I love Filipinos coz you know the highest paid nannies in New York and nursing care is for the Filipino citizens. They usher us into our lives and usher us out with such grace and love and respect. My mother-in-law’s over 97 and her life is surrounded by fine Filipino women.
When we talk of “pump-priming” we talk about something dramatic, immediate, and something that will either lead to more employment, income or inclusive growth. But in this case, the project would have no pump-priming effect on the economy because of the considerable delay in its implementation.
Our biggest barriers? Bad policies and corruption. Cliché, but true. Our public transportation system is quite depressing. . . . The congestion of Manila goes back to our problem in transportation. Businesses won’t set up in an area if there are no proper public transportation systems. Government should step up on infrastructure to decongest cities and to entice people to move.
Sa kadaldalan ni Lacierda nabuking tuloy ang plano nilang No Election. Mas malala pa pala sa lifting of term limits ang plano ng Abad-Mar faction ng LP. This shows total disrespect for the Constitution. This shows that they will do anything to stay in power, sa takot nila sa criminal liability nila sa DAP at sa iba pang tinatago nila . . . . Hindi naman solid ang LP sa kalokohan ni Abad at Mar.
